Intuitis, BPI back ACM-ACR management buyout
Private investment fund Intuitis has invested in French sheet metalwork specialist ACM-ACR alongside the group's management team and BPI France.
BPI France invested in the group via its Fonds de Developpement des Entreprises Nucleaires (FDEN), a fund dedicated to development in the nuclear sector. BPI and Intuitis will back the group in its development strategy in France and abroad.
Company
Founded in 1948 and based in Saint-Priest, near Lyon, ACM has grown from a family business into an international company.
Originally focused on traditional boiler work, the group extended its activity to include the construction and repair of pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers and sheet-metal vessels. It provides material to companies in the chemical, oil and gas, nuclear and pharmaceutical sectors and to research centres.
With a workforce of 100 spread between two sites in the French Rhône-Alpes region, ACM-ACR's turnover has reached €15m.
