Storetail raises €2m from Isai et al.
Parisian tech startup Storetail has received a €2m first round of funding provided mainly by Isai Gestion and supported by business angels.
Isai Gestion provided €1.5m in the round, while business angels Thierry Petit (co-founder of showroomprivé.com), Emmanuel Brunet (CEO of Eulerian) and Christophe Chausson (CEO of Chausson Finance) provided the rest.
The fresh capital aims to enable the startup to strengthen technological progress and continued international expansion, following recent openings in London and Barcelona.
The startup also plans to recruit 10 engineers in France, as well as project managers for offices abroad.
Having reported a €1.3m turnover in 2015, Storetail aims to double revenues next year.
Company
Founded in 2014 in Paris by Mathieu Azorin and Elie Aboucaya, Storetail provides a platform through which large retail and consumer brands can reproduce "physical" marketing campaigns and methods online.
The startup has so far established partnerships with international groups such as Unilever, Danone, Microsoft and Orangina Schweppes, among others.
Storetail is currently based in Paris and employs 30 people. It recorded a €1.3m turnover in 2015.
