Siparex injects €3.6m into Ascaudit
Siparex, via its small-cap team, has committed €3.6m to technical engineering and maintenance group Ascaudit in a secondary buyout from Isatis Capital.
Siparex's small-cap activity typically supports businesses with sales below the €40m mark, with tickets ranging from €300,000-3m primarily in growth-stage groups and mature regional companies.
The deal also marks the exit of Isatis, which had backed the group since 2009, when it led an expansion round of an undisclosed amount. Company executives are also increasing their stakes in the group.
Currently generating a €10m turnover, the group is aiming to double this figure over the next few years, with plans for organic and acquisitive growth.
Company
Founded in 2005 and based in Saint-Ouen, Ascaudit specialises in technical engineering for buildings. Initially, the group was focusing on engineering only, and subsequently expanded into lift and escalator maintenance. It operates under four subsidiaries: Ascaudit Ascenseur, Ascaudit Mobilitie, Ascaudit Energie and NTC.
Ascaudit is forecasting a €10m turnover for 2016, and has 110 employees spread across eight agencies across France.
