BNP Paribas Capital Partners closes Fundexi IV on €333m
BNP Paribas Capital Partners has closed its Fundexi IV private equity fund-of-funds on €333m, above the original €250m target.
Fundexi IV will continue the investment strategy it has subscribed to since 2005 and has been implemented in its previous Fundexi iterations.
The fund was officially closed on 4 November.
Investors
Limited partners in the fund include European institutions, family offices and high-net-worth clients of BNP Paribas Wealth Management. The majority are new investors, according to BNP Paribas.
Investments
Like previous generations, Fundexi IV will invest in small and mid-cap buyouts in the IT and technology sectors, through primary and secondary transactions.
It will select emerging managers raising first or second generation funds, as well as established players. The fund has already completed 14 transactions, both primary and secondary, in European buyout and technology funds.
