Silver Investment nets Varicor
Lower-mid-cap buyout firm Silver Investment Partners has acquired Varicor, a French mineral material parts producer.
As part of the deal, the GP acquired a majority stake in the targeted company and aims to affiliate it with its portfolio company Schüschke, a German producer of washbasins for civilian aircraft washrooms.
According to a statement, the companies will sign a partnership agreement and aim to boost their penetration across the aviation industry, as well as explore new markets in the field of mineral material applications.
The GP acquired a controlling stake in Schüschke in January 2016 as part of a succession plan for the business.
