Ixo acquires Alpha Services Group
French private equity firm Ixo Private Equity has acquired Marseille-based roof sealing and waterproofing company Alpha Services Group.
Following the deal, the company aims to extend its business in the south-west of France and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Company manager and hitherto majority shareholder Laurent Benita reinvested in the business for a minority stake, as did the management team and previous backer BNP Paribas Développement.
This transaction was financed via the GP's Ixo 3 vehicle, which reached a hard-cap of €150m in January 2015. It is the fund's 13th investment and the vehicle is now two thirds invested.
A debt package in excess of €10m was arranged by Caisse d'Epargne and LCL.
Company
Founded in 1991 and based in Marseille, Alpha is a roof construction company for public and private buildings. The company has a turnover of €18m.
