Omnes Capital backs MBI of Groupe RGF
Omnes Capital has backed the management buy-in of France-based Groupe RGF, along with two co-investors.
Other investors in the round included BPI France and Capital Transmission, the investment arm of Swiss bank Banque Cantonale de Genève.
Company director Joël Béraldin, who hitherto held 100% of the share capital, sold all his shares in the group and reacquired a minority stake in the transaction. RGF will now be led by Pascal Daviet, joining from the Systra group.
Under Beraldin's management over the last 10 years, the group mostly grew by way of external acquisitions, having completed four add-ons.
With the new investors' backing and under Daviet's leadership, RGF will focus on growing its sales teams, diversifying its product range and targeting new markets.
Debt
A senior debt package provided by LCL, Banque Cantonale de Genève, HSBC and Banque Populaire supported the transaction.
