CM-CIC Investissement, BNP Paribas back Taranis
CM-CIC Investissement and BNP Paribas Développement have invested €5.2m in French B2B telephone distributor Taranis.
CM-CIC Investissement backed Taranis with €3.3m, buying shares from Azulis Capital, which invested in the company in 2007, according to French daily Capital Finance.
BNP Paribas, an investor in the company since 2007, injected an additional €1.9m.
Taranis plans to increasingly focus on virtual telephone technology, notably by using cloud services, and to expand internationally.
