
BPI France sells MR Cartonnage Numérique to trade
Point-of-sale advertising business Diam International has bought MR Cartonnage Numérique, a French designer and producer of cardboard packaging, from BPI France.
Ardian became the majority shareholder of Diam International alongside the management team and BNP Paribas Développement in 2016.
Diam creates, produces and installs branded point-of-sale displays. The company has 2,000 employees across 28 sites in 22 countries in Europe, America, Asia and North Africa. It posted revenues of €200m in 2015.
BPI France has held a minority stake in MR Cartonnage Numérique since 2015 via its Savoir-Faire d'Excellence fund, a €20m vehicle established by BPI France in 2013. The fund invests €500,000-2m, acquiring less than 49% stakes in French companies with a turnover of more than €500,000. The fund has an investment holding period of 5-7 years, according to unquote" data.
