NCI backs Factem in SBO

CEO Alain Dulac retained the remainder. Previous backer Ciclad, which has supported the company since 2007, has exited the investment.

NCI used its Reprendre et Développer 4 fund for the transaction. It was launched in 2016 and reached a first closing on €86m. The fund invests in both majority and minority stakes, with a maximum of €10m per transaction.

The deal was an all-equity transaction.

NCI's funding will allow Factem to intensify its internal development and carry out external growth projects.

Company
Founded in 2007 and based in Bayeux, Factem designs, develops and manufactures acoustic cells (microphones and earphones) for both the civilian and military sectors. The current company is the result of a carve-out of a Sagem Défense & Sécurité facility in 2007. The company's turnover stands at €9.4m and it employs 75 staff.
