
BPI France, Rhône-Alpes PME Gestion back Alcadia in MBI
BPI France and Rhône-Alpes PME have invested in French technology engineering and project management services provider Alcadia Entreprises.
Six members of management, including the founders, as well as two private investors also invested in the company as part of the deal.
Thierry Nourdin and Frederic Charnay have become new directors of the company as a result of the investment.
BPI France backed the company through its Fonds de Développement des Enterprises Nucléaires (FDEN) fund. The vehicle held a final close on €133m shortly after its launch in 2014. It targets the French nuclear industry, acquiring minority stakes for €1-13m, according to unquote" data.
Debt for the transaction has been provided by BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole and Caisse d'Epargne.
The new round of funding will help Alcadia in recruiting efforts and logistical and organisational improvements.
