Entrepreneur Venture, Carvest back VM Constructions
Entrepreneur Venture and Crédit Agricole Régions Investissement (Carvest) have invested €4.3m in French construction company VM Constructions, acquiring a minority stake.
Carvest will provide equity, while senior debt was provided by CIC Ouest and Crédit Agricole Centre Loire.
The fresh funds will finance the bolt-on of French construction specialist Groupe PHB. The Paris-based business, founded in the early 2000s, generates a turnover of €20m, according to a source close to the deal.
The transaction saw Groupe PHB CEO Laurent Vanheerswynghels secure a minority stake in the business resulting from the merger between VM and Groupe PHB.

Founded in 1979 and based in Arpajon, VM is a construction company. Through its VM Energies & Services branch, it also covers electricity and plumbing services. The company employs 30 people and generates a turnover of €10m.
