
Ciclad in talks to buy Bertin Ergonomie
Ciclad has entered exclusive talks to buy French ergonomics consultancy Bertin Ergonomie.
A source close to the deal disclosed that the GP plans to wholly acquire the company using Ciclad VI, a vehicle that should reach a first close imminently.
Ciclad typically invest between €2-10m in French companies turning over between €10-200m, operating across all sectors.
Ciclad will buy Bertin Ergonomie from Bertin Technologies, a French manufacturer of detection and sensor equipment for the defence and biotechnology industry.
Company
Founded in 1975 and based in Saint Aubin, Bertin helps customers in the aeronautics, automobile, nuclear, defense, transport and service sectors with the ergonomics of computerised systems. The company generated a turnover of €8m in 2017 and employed 90 people at the time.
