Naxicap exits Paradis du Fruit
Naxicap Partners has sold its minority stake in French restaurants operator Paradis du Fruit to management.
Management, which wholly acquired the company in the transaction, relied on a €35m debt package to finance the deal.
Naxicap initially acquired a minority stake in 2007 in a €5m deal, according to Unquote Data. Apax France had previously backed the business in 2001.
During Naxicap's ownership, Paradis du Fruit notably bought the France-based Pizza Marzano activities of Netherlands-based pizzeria operator Pizza Express Holdings.
Company
Founded in 1981 and based in Paris, Paradis du Fruit operates 12 restaurants directly and has a franchise network, generating revenues of around €50m. It specialises in fruit- and vegetable-based cuisine.
