
CM-CIC, Sodero back Cine Digital Service MBO
Previous backers CM-CIC Investissement and Sodero Participations have reinvested in France-based Cine Digital Service, a cinematographic equipment installation company.
The transaction allowed managers Cedric Aubert and Etienne Roux to acquire stakes in the company. Previous managers and shareholders Jean-Noel and Nicole Fagot will retain shares in the business. The management team holds a majority stake in the company.
CM-CIC and Sodero respectively invested €7.2m and €1.8m in the business. The French GPs have backed Cine Digital Service since 2002.
The firm is looking into accelerating its digitalisation efforts and hopes to expand internationally.

With roots dating back to the 1950s, Cine Digital Service is a cinematographic equipment installation business, specialising in digital projection. It also develops software and products for filming.
Based in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, the company generates €25m in revenues with 70 employees.
