Omnes et al. back Mistral MBI
A consortium of backers have bought a majority stake in Mistral, a France-based developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
French GPs Omnes Capital, Swen Capital Partners and Parvilla, and Switzerland-based GP Capital Transmission have all acquired stakes in the business.
Omnes invested €11.8m through its LCL Expansion II, LCL PME Expansion II and Omnes Expansion III (via the sub-section LCL Expansion III) vehicles.
Fabrice Le Camus was appointed new CEO and also invested in the company. Jacques Riviere, the former chair of Ocean, a company backed by Omnes Capital between 2007-2010, also participated in the deal.
Christian Fournier, the founder and previously sole owner of the business, sold all his shares.
Senior debt was provided by LCL and Crédit Agricole Centre France, while Swen provided mezzanine debt.
Under the consortium's ownership, the business aims to develop new products and strengthen its presence in France, expanding its sales teams and increasing its investments in marketing and communication.
