Argos acquires Factum from Naxicap et al.
Argos Wityu has acquired a majority stake in Factum Group, a commercial and industrial equipment leasing company, from Naxicap Partners, Swen Capital Partners and Euro Capital.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though Argos is currently investing from Euroknights VII, a 2016-vintage vehicle that targets lower-mid-market investments.
Under its new owners, the company will look to expand via bolt-on acquisitions, recruitment, and investment in new services. It will look to expand internationally on a pan-European basis.
Argos has also introduced Arnaud Deymier, formerly a partner at Deloitte and director at Credit Suisse, as CEO at Factum. The executive board and remainder of the senior management team at the company will remain unchanged.
The deal brings to an end an 11-year holding period for Naxicap.
Previous funding
Naxicap and Seventure (SPEF) co-led the buyout of Factum in a deal valued at around €40m in October 2007.
Company
Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Nancy, Factum is a leasing company focusing on the rental of IT, medical and industrial equipment, in addition to vehicle fleets.
