Trocadero et al. back Escalotel
A consortium of PE backers led by Trocadero Capital Partners has acquired France-based hotel group Escalotel.
Trocadero has pooled a consortium of co-investors including BPI France, Omnes Capital, Picardie Investissement and Rives Croissance.
Escalotel intends to focus on optimising daily operations, strategic repositioning of certain assets into their respective core markets, and real estate development.
Company
Family-owned business Escalotel is a franchise of AccorHotels. It currently owns both the business and premises of 12 hotels located in Paris, Amiens, Saint-Quentin and Avignon.
The business generates a turnover of €20m and is based in Saint-Quentin.
