
BPI France invests in listed Beneteau Group
BPI France has acquired a minority stake in the listed French leisure boat manufacturer Beneteau, while the previous owners of the business, the Roux-Beneteau family, retain the majority of the shares.
BPI France has purchased shares in one of the minority branches of Beri 21, the family holding company.
The appointment of a representative of BPI France Investissement as a member of the supervisory board of Beneteau will be proposed at the next general meeting of shareholders.

With origins dating back 1884, Beneteau offers, through the 11 brands of its boats division, around 200 models of pleasure boat. The group manufactures around 10,000 boats per year.
In addition, the business also provides leisure homes. The three brands of the group's habitat division offer a range of eco-designed mobile homes and outdoor residences.
Based in Vendée, the company's market cap amounts to €1.18bn as of 27 September. The Group employs 7,500 people mainly in France, but also across its divisions in the US, Poland and Italy.
