
Andera, BPI France back Orest Group
Andera Partners and BPI France have acquired a stake in France-based jewellery producer Orest Group.
The GPs invested alongside the management team and CEO Denis De Becker.
Andera Partners is investing via Capestan Capital 2, a small-cap fund closed on €165m in 2016. The investment is the fund's 10th deal.
Orest intends to bolster its international expansion and product development following the deal.
Company
Founded in 1963, Orest specialises in the creation and manufacture of jewellery. The group produces rings, bracelets and necklaces, and claims to produce around two thousand pieces of jewellery each day. Orest manufactures for its own brand and on behalf of third-party luxury brands; it generates a turnover of nearly €50m.
