CM-CIC exits Coprodex to trade
CM-CIC Investissement has sold its stake in France-based Coprodex, a maker of profiles and accessories for joinery manufacturers and installers, to France-based Au Creuset de la Thiérache (ACT), a manufacturer of aluminium products.
CM-CIC Investissement, previous owner and director Philippe Metzger, and Luxembourg-based investment company Field Sicar have all exited the business, although Metzger remains in his role at the helm.
Coprodex has been backed by CM-CIC since 2005, according to publication CFNews.
Based in Origny-en-Thiérache, ACT specialises in aluminium-based products via two subsidiaries, CTI and Orial. ACT employs 60 people and is part of the Amiquar group, which groups together 30 industrial SMEs. The whole group generates a turnover of around €200m.

Founded in 1997 and based in Saint-Avold, Coprodex is a maker of profiles and accessories for joinery manufacturers and installers. It serves carpentry business with a focus on the plastic polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The business has 50 employees and posted €17m turnover in 2017.
