
Kreaxi and Sigma Gestion sell Marketshot to trade
Private equity firms Kreaxi and Sigma Gestion have sold their stakes in France-based Marketshot, a lead generation service, to Mediapost Communication.
Mediapost, the digital services subsidiary of state-owned postal services provider Groupe La Poste, acquired a majority stake in the business.
Marketshot will continue to operate its brand Choisir.com and retain its independence, while receiving support from the La Poste group, according to a statement.
Previous funding
Sigma Gestion provided series-A funding to Marketshot in 2008, without disclosing the amount. Four years later, Kreaxi, then known as Banexi Venture Partners, invested €2m in a series-B funding for the business.
Company
Established in 2008, Marketshot is a lead generation and audience platform. The company develops vertical comparison websites designed to help in-market buyers make their purchase decision, and operates a network of premium websites in specific industries like automotive, cell phone plans, banking, credit, insurance and housing.
The firm, headquartered in Paris, generates revenues of €21m and employs 110 people, according to a statement.
