
BlackFin backs Consultim Group
BlackFin has acquired a majority stake in France-based Consultim Group, a distributor of managed properties to retail investors, investing alongside the group's founder, Benjamin Nicaise.
BlackFin, a private equity firm dedicated to the financial services industry, will support the group by developing new products and services and expanding its distribution, as well as in identifying and executing acquisitive growth opportunities.
Crédit du Nord and Banque Tarnaud have provided debt for the transaction.
The GP is currently investing via its BlackFin Financial Services Fund II, closed on €400m in 2016.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Nantes, Consultim is a distributor of managed properties to retail investors in France. The group generated a turnover of €605m in 2018.
Consultim operates through its commercial brands Cerenicimo, LB2S and VP2, and its services include brokerage, financing, accounting and property management. The group employs 150 people.
