Flexstone appoints new head of secondary investments

Flexstone Partners has appointed Kristof Van Overloop as a director and head of secondary investments.
Van Overloop will be responsible for expanding the firm's presence in the secondaries market, focusing on sourcing and executing secondary investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and managing GP relationships. He will be based in the firm's Paris office.
Prior to joining Flexstone, Van Overloop was a member of Adams Street Partners' secondaries team in London – most recently as a principal – where he was responsible for sourcing and executing secondary investment opportunities. He started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, advising on M&A and capital market transactions in the Benelux region.
The firm, which is an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, closed its secondaries and co-investment-focused Select Opportunities II fund on its hard-cap of €300m in July 2019.
