Siparex Intermezzo invests in Groupe MC3
Siparex Intermezzo has invested in French IT products wholesaler and distributor Groupe MC3.
The deal saw Siparex providing a mezzanine facility and partnering with Groupe MC3's managers Luc Detry, Jacques Bonnet and Gilles Debert.
The transaction was also financed with a €10m senior debt provided by a pool of lenders composed of LCL, BNP Paribas, Bred Banque Populaire and CIC.
According to press reports, Siparex Intermezzo invested around €10m in exchange for a stake of approximately 10% in the business.

Founded in 1995 and based in Villepinte, Groupe MC3 is a wholesaler and distributor of IT products. It operates mainly in French overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Guyane, Polynesia, Nouvelle Caledonie), Africa and the Caribbean.
The company generated EBITDA of around €7m from revenues of €150m in 2019.
