
Montefiore invests in restaurant group ETLB
Montefiore Investment has backed restaurant operator Groupe ETLB, which controls the Côté Sushi and Maison Poké restaurants chains.
Montefiore is currently investing via Montefiore Investment V, which held a final close on €850m in February 2020, exceeding its €750m initial target.
The vehicle deploys checks in the €20-200m range, with a €40-80m sweet spot, targeting companies with turnover within the €20-250m range and EBITDA of €3-30m.
The fund invests most of its capital in France, with the possibility to deploy a minority of its resources in the rest of Europe, primarily Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.
Company
Established in 2008 and headquartered in Paris, ETLB controls a network of 32 restaurants located across France.
It owns sushi restaurant chain Côté Sushi and poke restaurant chain Maison Poké, which both offer home delivery.
The company generates annual revenues of around €32m.
