
InnovaFonds hires HSBC’s Bouchery as investor relations head

French growth and buyout investor InnovaFonds has appointed a former HSBC director to become its new investor relations head, according to a statement.
Bouchery will be responsible for overlooking the firm’s relationship with its institutional investors, according to a statement.
At HSBC, he was the head of non-cash equity sales covering France, Benelux and Scandinavia. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse and Lehman Borthers, according to his LinkedIn profile. He brings with him 20 years of experience in investment banking and knowledge of asset owners such as insurers and pension funds, according to a statement.
InnovaFonds manages around EUR 300m in AUM across four funds. This includes Fonds Industries et Technologies II (FIT II), which raised EUR 90m in November 2019, according to Unquote data. The vehicle invests in SMEs active in industrials and B2B services with high growth potential in France and export markets with revenues between EUR 10m and EUR 150m.
FIT II invests in tickets of EUR 10m on average, but alongside co-investors it can provide up to EUR 30m.
The vehicle is expected to hold 10-12 portfolio companies in businesses active in B2B services and industrials, among others.
One of its latest transactions include Novae Group, a French provider of consulting and engineering services for the aeronautics, space, defense, mobility and energy industries.
