Sigma Gestion invests €1.5m in Sogemed
Sigma Gestion has provided French second-hand medical equipment dealer Sogemed with €1.5m of funding.
This is understood to be Sogemed's first round of institutional funding. Sigma invests via a range of FIP, FCPI and FCPR funds. it currently has around €150m in assets under management.
Sogemed will notably use the fresh capital to bolster its staff, both with regards to sourcing and commercial capacities.

Founded in 2009, Sogemed sources and re-sells second-hand medical equipment, following a business-to-business model. The company sources its products either from hospitals or directly from manufacturers.
Based in Les Olmes, Sogemed is believed to be profitable.
