Go Capital invests in QOS
French VC Go Capital has made a €1m commitment to QOS Energy, a French provider of energy management software, via its Ouest Ventures II fund.
The fresh funding will be used to accelerate QOS's expansion across France and the rest of Europe. The company entered the German market in 2012 and recently opened a UK office.
Ouest Ventures II is a venture capital fund with €33.7m in capital. The fund was launched in November 2008 and held a first close in October 2009 on €21m, according to unquote" data.
The fund invests in the Brittany and Pays de la Loire regions in France, typically providing €300,000–2.5m in capital to young life sciences or technology companies.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in La Chapelle sur Erdre, QOS is a provider of specialist energy management system software for the renewable energy installations monitoring sector.
The company's Qantum software-as-a-service (SaaS) is designed to allow plant managers and fleet operators to monitor the performance of technical infrastructure for photovoltaic, wind and biogas plants.
QOS claims to oversee 2,000 sites for 200 customers across Europe.
