A Plus and Promelys in €3m round for Greenweez
Promelys Participations has joined existing investor A Plus Finance in a €3m funding round for French e-commerce player Greenweez.
A Plus is understood to have led the round with a €1.2m contribution, while Promelys invested €800,000. Business angels provided the remainder.
A Plus had already injected €2m into Greenweez in early 2011. The company's two founders retain a majority stake in the business.
Company
Established in 2008, Greenweez is an e-commerce website offering customers a range of organic and environmentally friendly products, including household fixtures, food products, cosmetics and health items.
The business posted a €12m turnover in 2012 and is aiming to generate revenues of €25m in 2013. Based in St Jorioz, Greenweez employs 50 staff.

Jean-Michel Pimont and Tuan Tran worked on the deal for A Plus Finance. Promelys was represented by Luc-Alban Chermette. Romain Roy and Carl de Miranda are co-founders of Greenweez.
