Activa Capital sells Logitrade to Soridec et al.
French mid-cap GP Activa Capital has sold outsourcing business Logitrade to regional growth capital specialists Soridec, Sofilaro, Sofipac, Multicroissance and Sopromec.
Logitrade's management also invested in the deal. Activa had bought a majority stake in Logitrade from Omnes Capital (then Crédit Agricole Private Equity) and the company's founder in 2006. BNP Paribas underwrote the debt facilities at the time.
Under Activa's ownership, Logitrade saw its turnover grow from €85m in 2006 to €140m last year. The company also purchased its smaller competitor Achat Services Industries (ASI) in 2008.
Although financial details for the sale remain confidential, the transaction was valued at 5-6x EBITDA according to a source close to the transaction.
Company
Montpellier-based Logitrade was founded in 1994 by Bernard Mercadier. The company assists business customers with non-strategic purchasing requirements.
People
Philippe Latorre and Alexis Collon led the deal for Activa.
