CDC Entreprises et al. in €6.3m round for Link Care Services
CDC Entreprises, Siparex and iSource have provided French healthcare services provider Link Care Services (LCS) with a €6.3m funding round.
CDC Entreprises invested €1.3m via the €400m state-backed FSN-PME vehicle launched a year ago. CDC and Siparex joined previous investor iSource, which had backed LCS with €1m in 2008 – the round is split almost evenly between the newcomers and iSource.
LCS will use the fresh funds to continue expanding throughout France and internationally. The 2008 round had enabled it to start the commercialisation of its main product.
Company
Paris-based Link Care Services was founded in 2006 and specialises in surveillance and security services for the vulnerable. Its EDAO solution monitors patients and can warn emergency services in less than three minutes if it detects a fall or other dangerous situation.
The company employs 30 staff and reportedly generated a €1m turnover last year.
People
Daniel Balmisse and Xavier Deleplace led the deal for CDC Entreprises. Andreas Gall amd Gwenaël Hamon represented Siaprex. Eric Harlé worked on the deal for iSource.
