
Gimv buys ProxiAD from UI Gestion
Gimv has acquired a majority stake in French software engineering services provider ProxiAD from UI Gestion.
Eric Rozanes and Stephane Levy invested alongside Gimv and will be responsible for the operational management of the company. The investment was facilitated through Gimv's Smart Industries platform.
Following the acquisition, ProxiAD is planning to expand its services range and client segments.
LCL, Bred BP, BNP Paribas, Caisse d'Epargne IDF and Caisse d'Epargne Nord France Europe provided debt for the transaction. LCL acted as lead manager.

ProxiAD is a Paris-based software engineering services company. It provides business intelligence systems, predominately in retail banking and insurance, but also in the distribution industry. Founded in 1997, the company operates service centres in France and Bulgaria and employs 500 people. In 2012, the company's turnover amonted to €31m.

Arnaud Leclercq, head of Gimv France, led the deal on behalf of the buyer. Michel Deprez and Robert Le Roux managed the exit of UI Gestion. Eric Rozanes is the new managing director of ProxiAD.
