Iris and Midi inject €1.7m into BuyBox
Iris Capital and Midi Capital have injected €1.7m into BuyBox, a French software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the e-commerce market.
The fresh capital will support the firm's product development, as well as its international expansion into new markets.
Company
Founded in 2010 and based in Toulouse, BuyBox provides payment solutions to e-commerce retailers. The software facilitates group payments, enabling consumers to invite friends to contribute to a funding pool to acquire goods, holidays, wedding lists and gift cards.
Online retailers are able to rebrand the payment platform to match their corporate identity as the collective funding pool moves across the web through social media and various sharing platforms.
