AXA PE backs Place des Leads

The company plans to use the capital to strenghten R&D efforts and expand operations domestically and in Europe. Both organic and acquisitive growth are being considered to grow the business.

The deal was initiated by the company, which hired Global Equities Corporate Finance to find an investor to increase its capital base. AXA Private Equity was able to preempt the deal as it was already familiar with the company's management.

In addition, the business has developed a platform that allows it to monetise unsold leads. Customers include financial institutions, price comparison websites, lawyers and insurance brokers. The business has 20 staff on its payroll. The company's turnover has been growing by 100% annually.
