AXA PE backs Place des Leads
AXA Private Equity has invested €3m in Paris-based data collection company Place des Leads in exchange for a minority stake.
The company plans to use the capital to strenghten R&D efforts and expand operations domestically and in Europe. Both organic and acquisitive growth are being considered to grow the business.
The deal was initiated by the company, which hired Global Equities Corporate Finance to find an investor to increase its capital base. AXA Private Equity was able to preempt the deal as it was already familiar with the company's management.
