
Iris, Capnamic inject €2m into Agorize
Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures have invested €2m in Agorize, the French operator of several online recruitment platforms.
Agorize will use the fresh capital to strengthen its position in the German, UK, North American and French markets.
The deal marks Agorize's second round of funding. In 2012, the company received €300,000 from Bouygues Telecom Initiatives, the venture arm of French mobile phone and internet service provider Bouygues Telecom.

Studyka.com connects businesses with relevantly qualified target communities, namely students and graduates, and allows companies to set challenges to discover potential future employees.
Hackateam allows companies to connect to a network of developers to complete technical challenges. UpWeStart allows corporations to connect with start-ups, for either potential acquisitions or partnerships. Agorize Custom allows customers to create and launch fully customised online challenges.
Agorize has partnered with 2,000 universities to create profiles for students, and claims to have a client base of more than 100 across Europe, the US and Asia. Clients include Google, Allianz and Microsoft.
According to Agorize, it was profitable within its first year of business and has seen three-figure growth rates every year since its inception. The company employs 15 staff.

Agorize was founded by Charles Thou, Yohann Melamed and Yohan Attal. Sophie Dingreville is a partner at Iris; Christian Siegele is a managing partner at Capnamic.
