Emertec et al. commit further €2.4m to Lineazen
Lineazen, a French manufacturer of cross laminated timber, has raised €2.4m in a round led by Capagro Innovation, with participation from existing investors Emertec and Forinvest.
Around half of the total investment was provided by Capargo Innovation, a French venture capital fund established in April 2014 that targets the agriculture, food and biomass-related industries. The company has the backing of BPI France.
The funding round comes a year after the business raised €1.2m from Emertec and Forinvest.
The company will use the fresh funding to expand its network of partners to meet rising demand, and to boost its R&D efforts.
