
Innovacom backs Green Communications
Innovacom has invested in French digital start-up Green Communications as part of a €600,000 funding round.
Green Communications was the first company to receive funding from Innovacom's technocom2 vehicle, a seed fund dedicated to digital start-up companies, financed by CDC Partners as part of the state-backed initiative Fonds National d'Amorçage.
The business plans to bring its products to market and to keep expanding following the investment.

Green Communications spun out of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and the Université Paris Sud and was backed by IncubAlliance during its initial phase of development.
The company develops network equipment for setting up high-speed energy-saving private radio networks for communication, data and internet service access. Its technology is suitable for use in areas with high user concentration such as sporting and entertainment events. The business is based in Paris.
