Idinvest's Appsfire bought by MNG
Mobile Network Group (MNG) has announced the acquisition of Appsfire, a French mobile advertising technology company backed by Idinvest Partners, for a reported $30m.
The market for in-app advertising sales is projected to be worth $4.6bn in the US this year, rising to $6.8bn in 2019, according to MNG.
Previous funding
In February 2010, Appsfire received $1m in seed funding from Lerer Ventures and several angel investors.
This was followed by a €2.5m round in May 2011, which saw Idinvest acquire a minority stake in the business.
Company
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Paris, Appsfire has developed software designed to allow content publishers to include targeted mobile advertising in their apps.
The company has clients across 45 countries, including the US.

Ouriel Ohayon is the CEO of Appsfire. Paul Amsellem is the CEO of MNG.
