Digiteka raises €2m from French GPs
A Plus Finance, Siparex and Calao Finance have participated in a €2m funding round for French B2B video distribution company Digiteka.
The fresh funding will support the national and international expansion of the firm and its acquisition of further content rights.
Company
Founded in 2006 and based in Paris, Digiteka is a distributor of premium B2B videos for the web and mobile. The firm allows publishers to purchase, monetise and redistribute video content and generates capital from software licensing or ads revenue.
The company began generating a profit in 2010 and has since seen its turnover double each year. Digiteka predicts 150% growth next year, as a result of the firm's expansion into international markets, which will count for 80% of turnover by 2015 – up from 15% this year.
