OTC invests in Accengage
French venture firm OTC Agregator has taken part in a $3m funding round for Accengage, a French developer of push notification technology for mobile devices.
OTC was joined in the round by Mobile First Alliance, a union of mobile marketing companies.
Accengage will use the fresh capital to develop new product features and upscale its operations to keep pace with its current growth rate.
The company also plans to bolster its workforce and pursue further international expansion.
Company
Accengage is headquartered in Paris with additional offices in London and Tokyo. It provides mobile engagement technology such as push notifications, in-app messages and mobile retargeting.
The company says it sends 500 million push notifications each month for 130 million installed apps across 70 countries. It has a customer base of 300 clients, including Disney, Universal Music and Nestlé.
Accengage employs 50 staff.

Jérôme Stioui is the CEO of Accengage; he founded the company alongside chief innovation officer Patrick Mareuil and chief technology officer Abdelaziz Meziani.
