Idinvest invests €1m in Bunkr
Idinvest Partners has taken part in a €1m funding round for Bunkr, a French presentation tool provider, alongside angel investors Daniel Marhely and Xavier Niel.
The fresh capital will allow Bunkr to accelerate product development and expand internationally. The company is already active in the Asian, Brazilian and US markets.
Marhely is the co-founder of music-streaming service Deezer, while Niel is the founder of French telecommunications company Free.
Company
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Rouen, Bunkr provides a tool designed to simplify the creation of presentations. Content and data from applications such as DropBox, YouTube, Flickr and Evernote can be inserted into presentations.
The company claims to have amassed more than 50,000 users across 170 countries since its launch.
People
CEO Alexis Jamet, CTO Jean-Christophe Fossati and CMO Edouard Petit founded Bunkr. Matthieu Baret is a partner at Idinvest.
