Seventure leads $4.7m series-C round in ProTip
Seventure and existing investors have injected $4.7m in French medical devices company ProTip.
Seventure joined existing investors including Fonds Lorrain de Materiaux (FLM), the Berchet family office and Alsace Amorçage.
The new capital will support ProTip throughout the first human clinical trial for the ENTegral device.
Company
ProTip is a French medical equipment company based in Strasbourg. Its prime product is the ENTegral device, which is a permanent implant solution for laryngectomy patients. The implant fully replaces the larynx. The company was founded in 2004.
People
Emmanuel Fiessinger, general partner, led the deal on behalf of Seventure. Laurent Bocahut, investment manager and ProTip board member, represented FLM. Christian Debry is co-founder of the business, while Maurice Berenger holds the position of CEO.
