
Omnes Capital backs Camérus MBO
Omnes Capital has acquired furniture rental business Camérus Group in a management buyout.
The deal sees the D&P investment fund, which acquired Camérus in 2009, selling its stake in the business.
The fresh capital will be used to develop the company's products and customer service as well as expand its customer base.
Debt
Senior debt facilities were provided by BECM, which acted as arranger, as well as Caisse d'Epargne and Banque Palatine.
Company
Founded in 1992 and based in Pantin, Camérus is a specialist furniture rental business for decorators, event planners, trade fairs and congress organisers. The company stocks close to 60,000 items and has a logistics fleet of 32 semi-trailers, four tractors, two trucks and four light vehicles.
Camérus employs less than 50 staff and aims to reach €10m turnover in 2013.
People
Laurent Espic and Bertrand Dupray are partner and associate at Omnes, respectively. Christian Liagre is the president of Camérus.
The deal sees Omnes backing co-CEOs Christine Atzémis and Christophe Vilain.
