Newfund invests €1m in Sykio
French VC Newfund has provided software developer Sykio with €1m of growth capital funding.
The fresh capital will allow Sykio to drive its commercial development, both in France and abroad, and to increase the visibility of its main product, Ogust.
Newfund invests via the Newfund 1 vehicle, a €72m venture fund that typically provides €500,000-6m of equity per deal.
Company
Established in 2006, Sykio develops and publishes Ogust, a SaaS (software-as-a-service) solution designed for service-focused SMEs. The platform allows businesses to manage many aspects of their activity, including client lists, plannings, quotes, invoices and contracts.
Montreuil-based Sykio posted a €580,800 turnover in 2011.

Charles-Antoine Morand led the deal fro Newfund. Sykio was co-founded by Henri Salle, Didier Humbert and Karim Abichat.
