TagCommander raises €6.5m Series B
Hi Inov has led a €6.5m funding round for French digital marketing management company TagCommander alongside previous investor XAnge Private Equity and Bpifrance Digital Ambition Fund.
The Parisian company will use the newly-raised capital to speed up its European expansion.
Hi Inov is investment firm Dentressangle Initiative's venture capital arm and has an investment focus on technology companies offering point-of-sale and software-as-a-service (Saas) products. It recently led a $7.3m series-B in French SaaS business Commerce Guys.
Previously known as FSN PME, Bpifrance Digital Ambition Fund is the French government's investment fund, and has a remit to co-invest in native technology companies.
Previous funding
TagCommander's series-A was raised in October 2012, when XAnge injected €1.5m into the company through its XAnge Capital 2 Fund.
Company
Paris-based TagCommander provides enterprise tag management systems through its online platform. The company's service helps marketeers track and manage digital data tags to use as a means of developing knowledge of their customers.
Founded in 2008, the company claims it has 250 customers, including Air France-KLM and Axa, in 16 countries.

Hi Inov managing partner Valérie Gombart worked on the deal alongside TagCommander's founder and CEO, Michael Froment.
