Omnes invests €9m in Cogepart OBO
Omnes Capital has invested €9m in the owner buyout (OBO) of Cogepart, a French provider of shipping and delivery services.
The deal marks the maiden investment for mid-cap fund Omnes Croissance 4, the firm's newest vehicle with a target of €180m. The fund, which invests exclusively in French SMEs, has already held a first close on €82m.
French firm Finadvance co-invested in the company alongside Omnes. CIC, Arkéa Banque E&I and HSBC provided a debt facility for the deal.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Marseille, Cogepart is a provider of express shipping and delivery services for the business and retail industries.
The company specialises in three areas: the delivery of automotive spare parts for customers such as Peugeot, Citroën and Renault; the delivery and assembly of household products for Ikea, Fnac and Leroy Merlin; and home shopping delivery for Monoprix, Carrefour and evianchezvous.fr.
The company employs 750 staff and generated €37.5m in turnover last year. It claims to have around 1,000 customers.

Jérôme Dor is the chairman and founder of Cogepart. Benjamin Arm, the head of buyout and growth capital; Philippe Zurawski, a partner for the mid-cap buyout and growth capital team; and Rémy Deloffre, an associate for the mid-cap buyout and growth capital team, worked on the deal for Omnes.
Finadvance founding partner Hervé Legoupil also worked on the deal.
