FSI Régions backs Raynier Marchetti
FSI Régions has invested €1m in French corporate catering company Raynier Marchetti.
BNP Paribas Développement and Unigrains Diversification, previous shareholders in the firm, injected a further €500,000 into the company.
FSI Régions completed the transaction through the OC+B fund, a €300m FCPR vehicle that invests in convertible bonds.
The fresh capital will enable the company to expand its client base both nationally and internationally.
Previous funding
In 2001, BNP Paribas Développement and Unigrains completed the leveraged buyout of Raynier Marchetti from restaurant chain operator Groupe Flo, which acquired the firm in 1995. The buyout saw the founders of the firm return as shareholders.
Company
Founded in 1968 and based in Paris, Raynier Marchetti provides high-end catering services to companies. The firm also produces and distributes meals under the brands Déjeuner Livré, Bonne Graine, DL Sandwich and Plumier Repas. The company currently employs 115 members of staff.
