
Gimv sells Mentum to InfoVista
Gimv has sold its stake in French software provider Mentum to network solutions company InfoVista after a 10-year holding period.
Mentum's services will be integrated into InfoVista's product range.
Returns from the divestment have no significant impact on Gimv's equity value, which was reported as €971.1m or €40.5 per share on 30 September 2012.
In September 2002, Gimv partnered with AGF Private Equity and committed €7.6m to the company's expansion.
Softbank Europe Ventures and Sofinnova Partners originally provided a €11m first round of funding for the company in June 2001, in return for minority stakes.

Founded in 2000, the company employs 111 people across its offices in Paris, Stockholm, Dallas, Ottawa, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Its client base counts 375 customers across 120 different countries.
