Idinvest hits €235m first close for debt fund
Idinvest Partners has held a first close on €235m for its Private Debt III fund, which is targeting a total of €300m.
According to the firm, it expects to reach a final close by the end of the year, exceeding its initial target.
Investors
The fund has received commitments from French and international investors, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, mutual insurance companies and family offices.
Investments
The fund will focus on mid-sized European companies, investing to support growth or buyouts. It will look to invest between €5-20m for mezzanine deals, as well as purchasing secondary mezzanine debt.
The fund has already completed three investments: Park & Suites, J&S Automotive Technology and Maxeda.

Christophe Bavière is chairman of Idinvest and François Lacoste is a partner at the firm.
